What makes CAP Worldwide a trusted name in data protection?

23 October 2025

CAP is proud to confirm that we have been awarded the first ever GDPR Compliance Certificate issued by EuRA, The European Relocation Association.

As a Global Serviced Apartment Booking Agency, we work with travellers and assignees across a variety of industry sectors, business lines and seniority – from Graduate Trainee to VIPs and CEO’s – each of whom expect their data to be securely protected, and correctly processed, in line with the GDPR. Since launching we have always considered the protection of clients data as a business-critical priority.

When creating our digital eco-system, CAPTURE, in 2019 we ensured the key requirements of the GDPR were incorporated within CAPTURE’s data flows, as well as enterprise grade security features to protect client data. We have continued to enhance our processes and security in line with emerging threats, and the number of high-profile hacking and ransomware attacks recently suffered by companies such as Asahi Group, Collins Aerospace, Co-operative Group, JLR and M&S has reinforced the critical importance of data security for all organisations holding personal data.

This new programme measures an organisations compliance against the 6 principles of the GDPR – Lawfulness, fairness and transparency; Purpose limitation; Data minimisation; Accuracy; Storage limitation and Integrity and confidentiality - through an external assessment, and CAP is thrilled to become the first recipient of this new certification.

CAP COO, Andrew Hopgood, was delighted to have been asked to join the recent online GDPR Compliance Certification programme briefing with Dominic Tidey and Gordon Kerr of EuRA to discuss the assessment process, our journey, and the benefits of an expert evaluation when assessing compliance with the GDPR.
